Series Info

SCCA club racing SCCA Club Racing is where nearly everyone gets started in SCCA racing; this is amateur racing at its best.  Both regional and national events are sanctioned by the SCCA.  Regional events are typically good for points in a local regional championship series, while national races are intended to reward points for the national championship hunt.

National competition culminates in the "Super Bowl" of amateur motor racing - the Valvoline Runoffs.  Held at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the Runoffs provide the opportunity for club racers to compete for that most sought-after title, the national champion.  The Spec Racer Ford race is always a close, exciting race; in fact, in 2001, the SRF class was the only class in which no cars were lapped other than for mechanical problems. SCCA Pro Racing For those racers looking for an even bigger challenge, the Pro Spec Racer series is there, inviting you to try your hand at professional racing.  Including financial payouts and television coverage, this series provides some of the closest battles in all of professional racing.
